Biography
Conor Chapman is a Technology Ethics & Policy Rising Scholar at Stanford University. Working across the Cyber Policy Center and Center for International Security and Cooperation, his research focuses on AI Governance and the impacts of emerging technologies on democracy and global stability.
Prior to Stanford, Conor worked for the AI Governance Project and helped launch the Wadhwani Center for AI and Advanced Technologies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington, D.C. Conor received his MPhil in the History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Cambridge, where he focused on ethics and epistemology in modern science and emerging technologies. He holds a BA from Pitzer College in Philosophy and Science, Technology, and Society.
