Shubhi is a Program Manager with the Stanford Internet Observatory. She is a graduate of the Master of Public Policy program at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research thesis on prioritization of certain digital trust and safety practices over others has been selected and presented at prestigious conferences like TrustCon 2023 and Stanford Trust & Safety Conference. 

Shubhi has over 8 years of experience in policy design, regulatory compliance, stakeholder collaboration and advocacy. Prior to SIO,  she conducted risk assessments for VLOPS, helping them implement best practices for digital trust and safety. She also previously advised the Government of India's newly established skills regulator, the National Council for Vocational Education & Training on designing policy guidelines, which are currently being implemented in the country.

Shubhi has extensive experience designing and implementing online and offline election strategy for politicians. Shubhi is a Computer Science Engineer by academic training and strives to be a bridge between the tech and policy world.
